I wonder if any of our current players will take the opportunity of the NCAA rule change regarding allowing numbers 0-99 to change their current number. They could go down in our history to be the first to utilize the number.

Does Geno allow the players to change their numbers to the newly available higher ones?

I don't think Geno will allow the number 0, he already bans the number 1. Also will the NCAA allow the number 00?

Come on. Everyone knows that the XL series is reserved for games played in Hartford.
Yeah I hear they put them on the gray unis.

(Coincidentally, Amari's number actually is XLII. :))

It did 20-some years ago. Remember Ruth Riley?

Okay, this was a stupid post. I guess I will blame it on something, I just have to come up with an excuse.

I don't think it was stupid. It would interesting if they did change numbers. But that might happen next year, or with new players.

But anyway, if you need something to blame it on....

Thanks meyers7, I believe you have found my excuse. I’m going to stick by and my story is never going to change.
