Sidwell has Rice (#2 in 2022), Donovan (#10 in 2023), and Dudley (#4 in 2024). That's 3 top-10 kids in successive classes.
McNamara has Cooke (#52 in 2022), Vaughn (#72 in 2022), Jah (#25 in 2023), McDaniel (#9 in 2024), Craft (top 25 in 2025), and Hall (top 25 in 2025). That's 6 top-75 kids spread over 4 classes.
Riverdale Baptist has Zanai Barnett who has been the top scorer in the DMV the past 2 full seasons.
Good Counsel has Rachel Mutombo and Jade Tillman.
Mcdonogh has Tatum Greene and Kennedy Umeh. Umeh was on the U16 team with KK Arnold.
No Ciera Toomey on that list of underclass kids ? ? ?

The ONLY list that matters is the one Geno has in his desk drawer. There is a very large “C” written in blue ink!No Ciera Toomey on that list of underclass kids ? ? ?
Jada Williams (#2), Breya Cunningham (#25), and Tajianna avant-Roberts (#22) vs Kennedy Smith (#11) and Destiny Agubata (#20) from last weekend.
Cunningham less than stellar against very athletic competition.......she hasn't convinced me she's ready for the big time yet.....
I like posts with some attitude and assertiveness something somebody like Boston showed in high school...... I'm going to be patient and withholding final judgement till next year.........She just started her junior high school year, do remember.
I watched her play twice when she was a freshman against Ice who is a year older. At that time I felt Cunningham was slightly stronger (ie better) around the basket and Ice was better away from the basket. Cunningham was legit at least 1" taller than Ice and both battled tough for boards, position, etc. I came away impressed with Breeya as she was a year younger than Ice and played really tough.Cunningham less than stellar against very athletic competition.......she hasn't convinced me she's ready for the big time yet.....

agreed........but that's what was a bit disappointing......I thought she'd be playing with all guns blazing in a super competitive environment but seemed rather subdued shying away from contact as if she was playing with four fouls on defense....who knows, maybe she was.....That's fair, but it should be noted Boston never faced talent in HS like Kennedy Smith.
Hopefully you all watched her play last month at the MN tournament. If so you would see that she has a lot to work on. I never said she sucked. She wants to go to the WNBA so she would have never gone to Uconn where she would have sat the bench. She wouldn’t even join her EYBL team until after Azzi left and went to Fusion. She made a good decision picking UCLA and probably won’t end up in the transfer portal like so many others.Yeah. Well for those of us who saw KiKi in the 3x3's this year you can pretty much throw all those presumptive, speculative and negative comments into a cocked hat.
