Flagg was 8/14 from 2 and drew a bunch of fouls there as well. He was pretty well abusing his defender all night and ISO plays to get into the lane. Was it the most creative play call? No. Do I have an issue with it? No.
The first iso was fine. It was the second one that was a bad play call. Get if coming off of a DHO or a screen going down hill. Or draw something up to get him to a spot where he can make a quick decision. He needed his coach to simplify things for him.

At the very least call a timeout when you have a young team clearly pressing.

And they were -8 with him actually on the court.
But the +/- on a player is only counted for when they are in. Sub in and you could be -2 if they just hit 2 free throws you had nothing to do with. I take +/- numbers with considerable salt.

Yeah, basing a player's game performance strictly on +/- numbers would be foolish. I mean some player could come in after a loose ball foul, comes in and 2 seconds after the ball is inbounded an opposing player across the court nails a 3. Then they steal the inbounds pass and drill another 3. Then the coach gets T'd up and the opposing team gets 2 FT's. Just subbed in player is -8 before he can even blink his eyes.

Im enjoying watching the Cuse meltdown so early in the season. They are horrendous again this year and likely wont see any postseason. Karma serves them right for trashing Uconn during our bad years in the AAC.

Don’t look now but the other Hurley may have something this year. After getting slaughtered in the Duke scrimmage, they went to Spokane and took the Zags down to the wire and look really good against a solid GC squad. He managed to ger the 9th and 24th recruits this past cycle in Quintance and Sonon and a nice looking big transfer in Jihad. A very nice core which should get better with the season. They play hard. Not that the B12 needs another good team.

Houston also landed another top recruit this cycle and will have 2 top 20 kids coming into a program that historically doesn’t get burger boys. B12 continues to move on up with its brand of best hoops league.

B12 now has 6 of the top 21 signed guys, and likely to get AJ and Peat, maybe Tiller. The rest are mainly spread across UConn, UK and Duke.

Hey Yormark our football team is going bowling - how about another pitch to the B12 authorities?

Missouri beat Mississippi Valley St by 72 points today. And Missouri isn't even that good!
