Watching St. Johns vs Bama and St. John,s guards and wings are not doing anything. It’s all Zubi and Hopkins. Bama looks good, lot of time left though. Zubi looks really good though.
 
Went to UNC game last night. Wilson was the best player on the floor. Veesaar also had an excellent game. Completely controlled Bidunga. A game of two halves. Kansas had an 8 point lead at half. Tiller had 4 threes for Kansas but fouled out after playing 15 minutes with 12 points. Petersen carried Kansas but K defense in second half was horrible as UNC doubled their scoring,58 points vs 29 in first half. UNC finally got some scoring from their guards after half time and shot 67% in the second half. Besides Tiller in the first half, Kansas bench was MIA.

Oats coached with Bobby at U Buffalo and was the HS coach of one of the RI players Dan recruited (forgot which guy, Matthews?). So yes, he's tight with the Hurleys.

I once sat next to him at a youth soccer game (his kid played) and he did not lift his head once from his phone. 2 hours of a constant stream of texts and his responses.

The life of a coach is basically gladhanding 12 hours a day.

When Fanta and Marshall talked last night about Hurley not responding to texts during the season, I was like: THAT'S what I would want if I were an AD. Otherwise there's no time left in the day.

Yeah, EC Matthews at Romulus. Oats was looking to get into college coaching and Danny had him talk to Bobby when he left URI to coach Buffalo.

I really liked Acaden Lewis and Meleek Thomas…but man, I LOVE Acuff. I didn’t realize it during the recruitment, but he is awesome, tough, smart.

Rough stretch for Acuff - and he got baited into a 3 point foul. In classic Cal style, frehmen Thomas/Acuff took 31 of Ark's 56 shots. While talented, you do wonder how it builds the locker room when the two frosh are given green light like that. Karter Knox, also a projected firsr rounder, came off the bench and got 1 shot. Cal can't help himself but to simply hand over the reigns to his burgers boys right out of the gates.

Let me proof check what I send to make sure I saying nothing that insults that nancy Inyatkin.

It’s weird, I was rooting for Michigan State to win because we beat them. But that was an exhibition and of course has zero impact on any kind of metrics. Only the court of public opinion and convoluted transitive property theories (i.e., we’re better than Arkansas)

They’re talented as heck. I think they looked how I expect with a few frosh and Calipari vs Izzo at MSU. They made more mistakes, but they’ll be good.
 
Watching Gonzaga and OU and wow, Pack is in his 6th year at age 24. Dude has done a wonderful job of cashing in for a college ball player with no real NBA aspirations.
 
Graham Ike still has eligibility left, seems like dude has been in college forever
