Up thirty in the second half.

I don’t love the theory of comparing results of similar teams, but nova looking impressive and showing their veteran prowess and competitive nature, two things I think UConn lacks currently.

Thursday can’t get here soon enough.

Their 3pt shooting is so much better than ours. 42 of their 67 points are from 3s.
Hartford is letting them shoot open 3s on a lot of these possessions. Early in the game they were getting killed inside.

Nova also looked bad early vs a BC team that let St Johns score 97 the other day. Different days, different games.

Hope DH is taking notes on Nova's ball movement and offensive sets.. UConn has talent to mimic them.. Need our shooters to step up.. We have the scorers and slashers and Big dudes....

Meh...if you can defend the 3 well you effectively shut down about 30% of their offense. They don’t have the size to compete down in the paint with teams like ours.

They have plenty of size. The announcers have been marveling at how big and strong they are.

They also hit more than half their threes in transition. Pull up 3s aren’t easy to guard. They are just good shooters.

Their shooting, rebounding and defense was all better then what we displayed. But, hopefully, we've improved with more practice

The whole team is like 6-7 but they don't have any big men, it's all about ball movement and threes for them.

Defense much better than ours early on for now. Still don’t see how we won’t match up with them. Dixon a nice added space eater for them we just need to move him a little. Good match up for Sanogo when he enters.

They’re good, as mentioned above nice combo of experience and overall size.

well, you've got 'nova, a team who was a lot of people's pick for another chip and clearly top 4 in national rankings, then they get beat by VT and are punted to #12! who wants to be in hartford's shoes the next game? couldn't be much more different than their game with us.

I feel like DH isn’t used to coaching talent

I could have sworn UHart beat UConn up on the boards for a good part of the game

Nova has 4-5 guys 6’7”-6’9” and everyone else is 6’3” or above with the exception of one 6 footer that doesn’t play. They all have skills and they are jacked. Great S&C program.
