How has Pitino not murdered Russ Smith on how many times he's messed up??

Well, besides the fact he's a weak old man

I'm not sure Louisville's starting backcourt has a combined IQ that hits triple digits.

More than anything, that will keep them from winning an NC.

As Yogi Berra once said. Its deja vu all over again. Brings back memories of being at the Garden for the 6 OT game.

This crapfest should not be compared to the epic-ness of that game. We rolled into South Bend and assbanged these crackers, how the hell does Louisville blow this bad?

Full disclosure, I would be considered a cracker. But still...

Well at least one of the teams from the 6 OT game made it to the FF that year. Louisville not being able to close out ND when they played for 25+ minutes without their best player....

Very dramatic the whole way with superlative play ( Grant with 12 points in 42 seconds and Sherman with the overtime performance of his career) and awful play (Russawfulous? Blowing it in at least five end of game situations)

You guys have short/selective memories, that UConn Cuse game wasn't exactly a well executed game or artistic, what made it epic is that it went 6 overtimes and both teams played their hearts out. Tonight's game was epic because Grant scored 12 points in 42 seconds to send it into overtime and then both teams left everything on the court for 5 overtimes. If you remember UConn had a ton of chances to win the 6 ot game, we led in every overtime and had the final possession in pretty much all of them except the last one. As for Louisville, Smith and Siva should have their schollies pulled after that. I love Louisville's frontcourt and can't stand their backcourt. Pitino probably has some unlucky Notre Dame fans wife bent over at the local Italian joint in South Bend.

It was ugly at times but full credit to those kids for bringing it for that long. Entertaining as heck. And credit the ND students for a court storm 65 minutes in the making.

Yep. We were insanely terrible in that game. Probably some of our worst basketball of the year. The only reason we were even close enough to get it to overtime in the first place is that cuse played pretty badly as well.

I always get a laugh on their board because they look back on that game as one of their big highlights of the last decade. It's funny because its true.

The last 26 minutes was very enjoyable. Not a big Brey fan but you had to love his reactions through the five OT's , laughing, high five his players. He knew they shouldn't be in this game with three starters on the bench. ND had no right winning that game but somehow they did. Great effort by ND, ie Sherman 7 ft. Sub scores 17 pts, 6 RB's in OT after not playing in regulation.
Classic game. If you have a chance to see the replay, just watch the last minutes and 5 OT's , a crazy game but fun.
