Non-UConn transfer portal

Did he sign with Colorado State??

And why is he wearing a Colorado A&M shirt in this pic?

EDIT: I just learned something new. Colorado A&M IS Colorado State...

Not sure how to feel with both ODU and JMU on this list. I want them decent when we beat them. It will help our ranking late in the year.
If it makes you feel better in a twisted way, Toledo is on the list too

Colorado State is the new name of Colorado A&M, Oklahoma A&M is now Oklahoma State.

When I saw the list, I thought UConn would be on the list, but I guess we weathered the storm. Toledo is on it...

It’s a great path if the immediate options aren’t there at a higher level. Drop down, show you can play, and transfer back up. Good luck to him.
Or stick it out there the rest of the way and put up big numbers... try and be a kid again. Have fun, then see what happens afterwards... always liked this kid. Hoping he has a strong finish to his college career.

Not really earth shattering but interesting to see numbers:

-> Despite a pair of Group of Six teams pushing their way into the College Football Playoff last season, data from the 2026 transfer cycle shows the talent gap between the Power Four and the G6 continues to widen.

Of the 114 G6 players who earned first- or second-team all-conference honors last season and returned to college football in 2026, only 29.5% remain with the team they played for in 2025. Of the 81 who transferred, 73 ended up at the Power Four level.

In comparison, 74.6% of Power Four all-conference players who returned in 2026 opted to stay with their previous team <-

Definitely interesting, thanks for sharing. It is nice to know that only 8 1st or 2nd team all conference players from the "G" ranks that portaled didn't go power 4, and we nabbed one of them in Sherman. Carter was 3rd team all MAC so he doesn't qualify but that seems like another great pickup.

Am I forgetting anyone? Thought we had some other all MAC guys, but our portal haul had so much talent I may just be thinking so because of how good some of these guys are.

Let's be honest here. Every conference that isnt the big 10 or SEC is a glorified development league for the Big 10 and SEC because they pay the most to players.
