I don't understand FSU right now. They have not been very good this year...lost 13 in a 20 game stretch, had mediocre batting and were short on good pitchers...

Yet here they are having won five straight games against Georgia, LSU, and Arkansas.

I suspect that Arkansas wins the next two.

Remember when the other FSU (Fresno State) went berserk and rolled to a CWS 5 or 6 years ago?

Florida State reminds me of that team. They simply won't be denied right now.
 
Auburn is another team that wasn't overly impressive in the regular season...then got hot.

The upcoming winner's bracket match between Michigan and FSU may be one of the, if not the most, unlikely CWS matches ever.

Both were last four in teams, holding their breath on selection day...both had to knock off national seeds on the way to the CWS and both beat national seeds in their first CWS game.

Hey! This must be one of those Cinderella things that you guys rave about.

Michigan is lit - a 2-0 complete game 3 hit shutout of FSU. First 2-0 team of CWS this year.
 
Michigan looks good....if they win it all, it will be the first NC for a team that is east of the Mississippi and north of the Mason-Dixon line in over half a century.

My dad, a Michigan alumnus, would be whooping if he was still here.

The coach was already there when Warde arrived not sure what credit he should be given for a staff that was in place prior to his hire.

Louisville survives to play another day... knocks off Auburn 5-3 in conclusion of game delayed from yesterday.
 
Michigan has a big advantage, getting 3 full days off. That's good for their pen.
 
FSU (and Coach Martin’s) run comes to an end. Texas Tech eliminates FSU 4-1.

Yes they are....now, if football would come along, it would be a great year.
 
No one will equal Mike Martin's win record....you could win 50 games a year for 40 years...and still be a close second.
 
How could Mississippi State not change the pitcher in the bottom of the ninth, with the pitcher on mound not performing well?
