Non-UConn Injury Reports

Nutley NJ's own out for the season

Contrast is sad: Montclair's Myisha Hines-Allen has a career night for Louisville while her one-time Essex County, NJ, HS rival gets injured. Geez. I enjoyed watching their high school games and/or scrimmages when they overlapped and hope to see Blair recover well.

Good news Regarding Kiki Herbert Harrigan:

Wilson also practicing but it is unlikely she'll play versus Vandy.

Haley Gorecki out for the season. Head bang

Gorecki, who hails from Palatine, Ill., came into the season healthy after missing a year and a half with a right hip injury that forced her to be limited to only 14 games. Since moving into the starting lineup against Winthrop in December, Gorecki averaged 17.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.8 steals over a span of 11 contests.

The 6-0 guard posted four games with 20 or more points, including a career-high 29 points at North Carolina and 28 at Virginia Tech in back-to-back contests. Gorecki became the first Blue Devil to register seven or more three-pointers in two straight games. She added 25 points on the road at third-ranked Louisville and 20 versus Winthrop. Gorecki had a stretch where she scored double-digits in seven consecutive contests.

Also in the article it stated that Kyra Lambert who was already out for the season with an torn knee..... had another surgery last week to reconstruct her ACL after sustaining another injury Head bang

If Duke isnt looking at a possible guard grad transfer yet.... perhaps they should start soon

No way to sugarcoat this one. Horrible news for Duke.

Off the top of my head....I think the last time Duke didnt have a season ending injury to a starter/major contributor was 2010-11
