I see Greg Fluguar is still pushing all of his lies after all of these years. There isn't a bigger fake person on YouTube that talks conference realignment than him. Always wrong. Just reads articles for hours upon hours for clicks and views. Whatever he says could or will happen go with the opposite and you will be right most of the time.

There are few things that I hate more than someone reading something to me. It strikes me as a colossal waste of everyone's time.

He is not “always wrong.” He nailed the Big 12 adds and the PAC falling apart. Have not listened recently, but he has solid contacts.

Even guys that start out total bullshit eventually get real contracts

Hi back and listen. He knew about CO to B12 way before anyone else. Knew UCONN and B12 were talking. Knew about the other teams. Go back and listen. He nailed it. Sorry, you are wrong.

Call me crazy but I'm still holding out on Flug for UConn-B12. We aren't out of contention

Wake me when they are painting the B12 logo on the floor at Gampel,

I'm wrong about what? I don't know if he's a bullshit guy or not

I think Greg Flugaur's show is one of the better ones on realignment. He provides a lot of information and isn't rude or condescending to the callers. He seems to have some inside information at times, but who knows. When he first started talking about UConn on Twitter, he worked for Cenveo, Robert Burton's company. Yes, the same Robert Burton whose name is on the UConn Football Building. So it was plausible that he might have some insider information regarding UConn. Flugaur no longer works for Cenveo.

I don't understand Flug's setup. Information is instant, we check various sites and we want the info in 10 words or less. Every time someone posts one of his videos it's like an hour long. Do people actually watch his mug for an hour to get commentary which may or may not mean anything? I need the 5 second version. Unless some host is smoking hot doing an fire archery foot shots while summarizing CR theories, I'm not spending more than a few seconds on it. I don't watch his videos, but this is certainly worth the view.

Go back and listen to his videos before the big 12 realignment. He nailed it. He was the first one to say that UCLA and USC were leaving the Pac to do go to the Big Ten. My point is he gets a lot of this right. He has information along before anyone else does.

Now that's some realignment

So you're saying we have "a shot" at the big 12?

First Krzyzewski talking about it and now Scheyer (although not UConn specifically).

Also, does this talk put pressure on the Big 12?
Some think it weakens our play with the B12 because we have never been an easy sell. The B12 is not going to beg for us. But frankly- I don’t know.

If the ACC-BE threat is real there will be pressure for them to make a play
I think the B12 should offer UConn a spot, but I don't think such an offer should or would be motivated by a potential ACC-BE merger. How would the prospect of adding UConn and a handful of basketball-only BE schools to the ACC pose a threat to the B12? If anything, such a move in a football-centric world would be dilutive to the ACC. Like the B12, the ACC aspires to be more like the P2, not more like the BE.

Economics suggests multiple buyers for same goods could be accretive to the price of said goods.

If both ACC and Big 12 are interested in UConn, it’s a good thing.

I don’t know that ACC merges with Big East. Not sure any of Catholic schools want to go back to that model unless fb is a separate contract.

Just keep UConn in discussions

There is no info out there indicating that the Big 12 or the ACC are interested. Stop torturing yourselves.

CT politicians and Big 12 members have made it clear. The ACC has made it clear reaching over us for Cal/Stanford and SMU.

If the Big 12 is still in play then it’s so secret we may never hear anything until the final outcomes.

And if it was that secret, that is probably best for us anyway.

There have been many things working against us in conference realignment. One has been that both the ACC and B-12 have always believed we would always be available at whatever point down the road they may be looking to expand again.

Having more than one potential suitor could be of some help. That said, the next inflection point is 2030. Our goal should be to put ourselves in a position where leading up to that both conferences will want us to choose them.
