It's Austin Cox saying it and he offers no attribution to the claim that reps are attending.

This is what he says:

What we do know is that both the University of Cincinnati and Brigham Young University have representatives (employees of the universities) in Dallas, Texas - where the announcement is being made on Big 12 expansion - as you read this.​

Cox is a tool... (yes, intended). His credibility w/ the whole ESPN/AP are lying about Memphis killed any minimal shred of internet credibility he has as a blogger.

Agreed but exit 4 called it wrapping paper.

And FWIW Red Dirt Sports, an Oklahoma blog, just tweeted out a pic of this banner, too. Claims it was emailed to him and the pic is making its way around Cincy snaps. Since he didn't see it first-hand I'm skeptical.

Best case scenario is BYU and Cinci are already in and today is about adding two more. Basketball is screwed if Cinci is gone
 
Well, who knows if it's true or not but it certainly doesn't make me feel good.

I can't imagine though, through everything that the schools have been through the President of Cincinnati would risk letting the news slip out via some kid working in a print room.

At least that's what I'm telling myself.

If it's the day of an announcement it doesn't really matter all that much. It's what a few hours before the press conference?

Not sure how the President would be able to stop a kid with a cell phone from taking a picture. Even if it were made off campus by some private company, they need a banner made if they're accepted. Someone, somewhere would have to make it and could potentially snap a pic.
