No it's not. It's real interest. That being said, yes the Big 12 would like to add a PAC school with UConn.Nobody has insider info.
UConn isn’t getting a B12 invite anytime soon.
This is all just posturing to get the PAC schools to bolt.

You know, I've wondered about that. If Yormark took a tour of Werth and Burton, how can it be kept a secret? Wouldn't coaches, players, cafeteria workers, and janitors have seen it?Yep- but fwiw the Yormark visit was known by others around here- they just kept quiet. And so given it was known by others I think it was bound to come out as the visit apparently wasn’t conducted with the tightest cloak and dagger operations.
IDK- but others knew… others beside Russ that is…You know, I've wondered about that. If Yormark took a tour of Werth and Burton, how can it be kept a secret? Wouldn't coaches, players, cafeteria workers, and janitors have seen it?
How many people would have known who he was before all this? You know, I've wondered about that. If Yormark took a tour of Werth and Burton, how can it be kept a secret? Wouldn't coaches, players, cafeteria workers, and janitors have seen it?
He didn't say anything that would make one think he had inside info. That strong a conclusion on this matter is said all the time, with no pushback. As long as it's optimistic.Because it seemed like he was definitive in his second and third statements yet only a handful of people on the planet would know this to be true or not and those 5 people are the truest insiders of all.
Seriously hearing all the talk from people who's schools aren't even close to us (Memphis fans mostly) is so tiring, they don't have anything past "you have terrible football" like with 3-4 ADs, 3 head coaches, and 2 interim coaches in a decade stretch? You try to reasonably compete literally no program can, hell even in our men's basketball we weren't competent until Hurley, we finally have the stability thank god.I personally wish the Yormark visit never leaked (thanks Russ from UConn Twitter). It just gave the UConn haters, and damn there are a lot of them, to look for every way to trash the school and program. Whole thing has become tiresome.
Somewhat agree, on the other hand, the narrative appears to be changing.I personally wish the Yormark visit never leaked (thanks Russ from UConn Twitter). We are gaining major ground in the court of public opinion. All that was required was for the right people to start supporting us.Somewhat agree, on the other hand, the narrative appears to be changing.
PAC12 Media Day is Friday…Could something happen this week?
1) D'Amelio saying he's headed to UConn tomorrow.
2) Rucker Park is on Tuesday. (However, Yormark is in Italy according to the Colby Daniels & Dusty Dvoracek podcast, so he won't be there to make an announcement).
3) There was that podcast with Colby Daniels & Dusty Dvoracek where they said that something was going to happen next week.
Last 4 minutes of the podcast:
He could just be here to promote the D'Amelio collective. (But it made me stop and say "hmmm" as well.)Arguably key. The guys knows how social media works, and the timing is...interesting.
Has smoke ever led to anything? Most conference moves have been complete surprises.Respectfully disagree. Some people are connected. Quite a bit of smoke out there and there is legitimate interest. Will it lead to an invite? Hopefully we will know soon.
No, they have not. Flug called USC and UCLA months in advance.Has smoke ever led to anything? Most conference moves have been complete surprises.
Dude has called every scenario imaginable. No, they have not. Flug called USC and UCLA months in advance.
It doesn't even make sense. How can they be 12 votes short if there's 12 total votes? If everyone is voting no, then why would anyone bring them up to a vote? Lunacy. This is not true at all.
