The Moonshiners do not realize how much credibility they lose every time they make their litany of ACC Apocalypse tweets.

aren't there any other fake insiders talking about this on other boards? If this is such a sure thing, why aren't all the Presidents and Athletic Departments discussing it, and at least having their own positions on it? I want to believe, but i need more validation.

BC?

That Man is an idiot. Please send Andrew Wamugi our collection of multiple pictures of BC games with NOBODY there; and please inform all ... there is no buzz within the 128 loop for that sports program, except the Beanpot. That's the only thing that NE ever focuses on for the Eagles.

Agreed. The B1G would grab UMass before it grabs BC, and that's not happening either.

Utini‏@PromiscuousJawa
The ACC met with reps from Cincinnati, PennSt, and one other school (likely UCONN) as recently as January 19th. Separate meetings.

Utini‏@PromiscuousJawa
2nd source confirmed aforementioned ACC meetings. Done via proxy reps. Would not give name of 3rd school but confirmed it was NOT uconn.

Utini‏@PromiscuousJawa
SEC explored expansion with available teams. content to wait out GOR. Prefer ACC adds. Also doesn't expect B12 teams to be available.

Utini‏@PromiscuousJawa
Doesn't expect B10 expansion any time soon but expects provisions to allow later expansion to be written into new TV deal.

ACC is dead if B12 gets a network. Hoping uconn is on the right side of that and sticks it to those Coastal duck*ers.

Here's the thing:

When the disparity in TV Agreements between the B1G & the SEC ... to the B12 & ACC ... get to $55m to $23, then it's all over. Katy bar the door. That is just the threshold of what is going to be a big gap. And anyone with Value is going to be looking for their best deal. GoR of not!!! They will find a way to move on down the road.

Unbelievable to have so little self-awareness that you can completely contradict yourself in a matter of two tweets.

3rd school likely UConn, but source confirmed it was NOT Uconn.

Good God who would Utini‏@PromiscuousJawa presume to be the third team involved if not UCONN. Penn State is never leaving the B1G now that Maryland is in the fold and UVA and UNC are possible targets of B1G.

From his profile: "Still just a kid in his mom's basement making stuff up! Pay no attention to anything I post." I assumed he/she created the account to mock Tux Yoda. Kind of like the Fish of WV! What happened to that guy? Must've taken a hit to the head at the bottom of a mine. None of that stuff makes sense (PSU meeting with ACC, UConn not being included, SEC not thinking B12 teams will be available).

I suspect the ACC is going after a tiny private school or a school in a smaller city outside the current footprint. This would be a perfect fit for the ACC. Perhaps they are going after Rice University or else maybe Memphis.

Mama Mia. The idea that PSU would even offer a courtesy meeting to the ACC is incomprehensible. Should these people be allowed to drive?

to be fair, these people posting on twitter should be the equivalent of crazy people yelling to themselves in an empty room

we're the ones recording their nonsense and compiling it here for analysis

And this is why the B12N will happen and why Uconn and Cincy markets are integral. http://mweb.cbssports.com/ncaaf/writer/jon-solomon/25486513/big-12-schools-made-9-million-less-than-sec-counterparts-in-2014-15…

@MH ver3 except no one watches UCONN football. Their TV ratings are very mediocre.

MH ver3@MH ver3
@nathanmills it's not about ratings.

nathanmills@nathanmills
@MH ver3 part of the research has to be advertising dollars. As an advertiser eyeballs are king.

@MH ver3 @nathanmills BYU isn't getting an invite.

That's not even true. Our bowl game ratings were very competitive and that's with our program just coming off it's nadir.
Agreed but anyone in our region willing to watch any B12 network game counts - it's not just UConn ratings in a vacuum.

An exactly why would Penn St move from a P4 solid lock in the B1G which also offers more money than any other conference versus less money and knowing that the P4 alignment will include the ACC or XII, not both?

Doesn't that mean this board has no credibility as well?

If I read it correctly, he had 2 sources. The first thinks it's UConn and the 2nd thinks not.
