Adama uses a quick first step to beat his man off the dribble, splits two defenders and finishes at the rim in a baseline drive as the Miami cheerleaders look on in amazement.
That drive was super saucyView attachment 86569

THAT is Adama 2.0. Just a different player entirely this year, and continuing to evolve. And to amaze us.View attachment 86569

Nailed it@WhereistheDove? ..Among other things..I've been impressed with his mind/brain/laser focus on the task at hand.. Never questioning himself/his teammates/his coaches/the scout.. His skill development while at UConn should be Exhibit A for recruits considering our Program..Given how (relatively) little competitive basketball he's played in his life, he is one of the most impressive players to ever put on a UConn jersey. This dude has only been playing since he was 15 and is not only one of the most technically proficient back-to-the-basket bigs we've seen in a number of years in college basketball, but has added a very competent outside game and improved tremendously as a facilitator. I have no idea what his future holds after this year but he's been an absolute pleasure to watch.
The Adamiral
Someone with as awesome of a name as Adama does not need a nickname.
His footwork is light years ahead of Timme, and fundamentally sound. Now he added a few dimensions of the game such as outside shooting, and dribble layup from 3 point line, more importantly passing. The player development in this season has been conspicuously off the charts.Given how (relatively) little competitive basketball he's played in his life, he is one of the most impressive players to ever put on a UConn jersey. Go back to the mid 60’s and add Toby Kimball to that list. He’s a top 2 UConn big man of all time.
Emeka 1A
Sanogo 1B
Incredible.
Omg. Not sure how I made that mistake. And because I seem to have missed the window to edit and I absolutely don’t want to mess with that kind of bad mojo at this hour the only way to fix this is to rerun it.Those are the UConn cheerleaders. Just saying.
Emeka was player of the year and insane defensively.
1. Emeka
2. Sanogo
And that's nos light on Sanogo. Who is a better post player than Emeka, which in itself is a pretty amazing thing to say.
WAY Before my time OG. But I’ll defer to the older Husky fans on that one.Go back to the mid 60’s and add Toby Kimball to that list.
