The good news that Anna Makurat is coming to UConn made me think of this joy and happiness music thread. We had a few “groovy” songs in the thread. Geno getting commitments from Paige, Nina and Anna in the last month proves that he still must be a pretty groovy guy. And I also have another groovy song.

The one you should have put up. A whole generation in love with Michele:


Great song. And Michelle is indeed lovely. However, when John's daughter Mackenzie alleged that her father had an illicit relationship with her, the song took on a very negative vibe and is seldom heard anymore. Too bad . It was a wonderful song.

And interesting to see Frank Zappa at the 1:13 mark. I forget that he was kind-of sort-of part of that scene for a year or two.
