This one's not about the name of the tune, but the name of the band. If any of you are prog rock fans who haven't heard of them, definitely listen to this cut by Happy the Man:

This is one joyful, infectious, road driving song - from the one and only Taj Mahal:

The good news that Anna Makurat is coming to UConn made me think of this joy and happiness music thread. We had a few “groovy” songs in the thread. Geno getting commitments from Paige, Nina and Anna in the last month proves that he still must be a pretty groovy guy. And I also have another groovy song.

Here's a couple mixed bag songs. You can have more than one emotion at the same time.

The one you should have put up. A whole generation in love with Michele:

Great song. And Michelle is indeed lovely. However, when John's daughter Mackenzie alleged that her father had an illicit relationship with her, the song took on a very negative vibe and is seldom heard anymore. Too bad . It was a wonderful song.

Better song, MUCH better video. Tanks, mon!

And interesting to see Frank Zappa at the 1:13 mark. I forget that he was kind-of sort-of part of that scene for a year or two.
