No first team all big east.

And you'll lose to DePaul.
Freemantle and Xavier's Sweet 16 team from 2023 lost to DePaul which was much worse than this year's DePaul team. But that is a team issue, Peavy is a good two-way player while Freemantle is very good on offense but nothing special on defense.

Yeah, I'll take Freemantle.

Tarris is a starter that got 6th man? I mean that’s what he really is though Samson has come on very recently.

He doesn't start. Much as people here don't like that, he is eligible for sixth man of the year. Why wouldn't he be?

He started 1 game when Samson was out. He came off the bench. That's the definition of the award.

Understood but how many minutes has Tarris played versus Samson?
He’s a sub who plays starter minutes and our starter played sub minutes.
He’s could come in after 1 minute, play 70% and still be 6th man?
He has at worst split the center job but he starts the game on the bench.

Yeah but he played more than Samson. He’s been our primary center all year. Hurley was loyal to Johnson letting him start. If that is a 6th man ok and congrats to him on the recognition.

excluding the opener against Xavier since Samson didn't play due to the concussion, in 19 Big East games Samson played more minutes than Tarris 9 times, Tarris played more minutes than Samson 9 times, and they had an even split of 20min/20min in the last St Johns game. Samson averaged 20 minutes in BE play, Tarris 19...
