Am I the only one continually asking myself "what the absolute duckk is happening here?" on a weekly basis? Like, is this real? We're stacked to the bejeezus and we're adding a freakin McDonalds AA?? Whaaat? We are currently acting the part of a blue blood. 😊

So I'll say what I can here. Like I mentioned I know this kid well and my guess is he will neither be at Wash or here next season. When more becomes public I'll elaborate where I can. I might have wrong info but I dont think so Oh well

Something was weird about his whole recruitment. He focused on a bunch of schools, then they all cooled on him, then he "reopened" his recruitment and committed to UW, and now this.

Talented kid but either his demands are outrageous or there's something else going on.

Don't know if Bundalo (and his Family) see him as an OAD or not. If so-Can't see how UConn could work. If he sees himself as a two or three year guy- It probably could. Always thought of him as a 3 in a PF sized body. Our need seems to be a 4/5 combo-or a 5- for depth.

We already passed. Maybe if Alex had left we'd have explored that again, given the slim pickings out there, but no way now. We need an actual center.
 
I think I read somewhere this kid cursed out one of his coaches. The vibes here in general are off, so I won’t blame Dan if he still isn’t interested.

Definitely funky - feels like it blew up and then he got antsy and felt the need to stick to an artificial timeline by committing to a program that wasn’t even on the radar previously.

He seems a bit volatile, but I did find him to be one of the more impressive kids in the McD AA game. Hard to understand potential character concerns but I would love his game in Storrs and he’d fill a need as being a bench piece between the 4/5, and as a potential starter next year. Much more a need than Adams was.

When a lot of things were in flux we seemed to be recruiting him and Reibe as complementary pieces. But now I just don't see enough minutes at the 4 to go around to make Alex, Jaylin and this kid happy.

With Sengare gone, and Stew more a 3-4, AK gone next year, if he’s will to play 15 between the 3-4 this year to start next, could fit.

Next year we could see a roster of

Reibe
Bundalo
Stew

Between the 3-5

We don’t have much on long term depth at the 4.

The staff passed on him for a reason. I'm going to trust it was a good one.

UW has a big bag.

Staff passed but we don’t know why. They also picked Adam’s and let him walk. Stuff can change. I doubt we go back in but would be the kind of talent (not character) we could use. These euro types aren’t usually the bag chasers.
 
Talking with sources around the recruitment, the school I am hearing the most with Bundalo is St. John’s. Continue to pay attention to this one and check in with On3 to see if more schools emerge.

Paging Mr. Repole.....I'm really curious to see how good St. John's is next year.
