I don’t think there’s any doubt they would cut her over $4,000 if that kept them under the cap!

This is interesting, in the NBA we worry about being $4mil over the cap. To keep Nika they will have to get one of the vets to take a $4000 pay cut, in exchange for 'future considerations'.

The $4000 is 1 business class flight to Europe, or a nice bottle of Chateau Latour at the team banquet.

Nika Played over 19 minutes, 6pts., 3 rebounds., 2 asst. Looked good out there. IMO, I think she made her case and should make the roster. She and Christyn Williams faced up against each other a few times!

I am quite surprised that Nika is wearing #1. As we know, no one has ever been allowed to wear that number at UConn, including Diana and Paige, who both asked for it.

Somehow I don't think that the Storm would have given her that number if they had any thought of cutting her.
