The tournament started today. It's a lot of games in a short period of time (they play twice tomorrow) so when the game is not close like today's 95-42 win, she will get plenty of rest. She had 6 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists in 14 minutes:

So basically a triple double if she played 35+. ;)

This little vignette seems appropriate here.

PS. Come on. That was well timed funny. Hard audience.

13 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists, and 4 steals in 23 minutes in a 103-25 win and then she was rested for their 85-37 win to close out group play. They will play knockout round games on Saturday on Sunday.

17 points, 8 assists, and 6 steals in 26 minutes in an 88-48 win:

She's a stat-stuffing machine over there.

And Geno made a major steal. I think this kid is nicer than we believe.

Y'all will get to where I am now in time. She's like Phee. The motor never idles. She's on a 2 a day schedule and she's very tough. The Ducks nearly had her and then an e-mail snatched her away.

I cannot recall whether I or anyone else posted this article evaluating Nika. The author isn't a journalist per se, but an owner of her own scouting service in Europe. She's seen a fair amount of Nika on the court. What she writes is impressive.

"Muhl is a fierce competitor and well advanced for her age. I had the opportunity to watch her several times within the last year and although she typically describes herself as a "pass-first point guard," she certainly can score the ball. To me, she's clearly on another level versus everyone else she played against. She can shoot the three, has a mid-range pull-up, handles it exceptionally well in the open floor, and is capable of getting it to the rim.

She wants to get out and run and makes good decisions when doing so. She does a great job of taking care of the ball and delivers sound and sometimes very flashy passes. She sets her teammates up very well, especially attacking the basket and coming off ball screens. Arguably the best part of Muhl's game is her decision making and IQ, which I guarantee can impress just about anyone."

Happy to hear that the people of Croatia know that their player going to UConn is the “Best”!

Way to go Nika!

Bottle?
@MDoggie Look closely at the photo she is holding a white bottle that looks like it could be either wine or champagne. Something that is not uncommon for young ladies in Europe to be celebrating a championship with. Many European countries legally allow drinking at age 16 and all allow it at age 18.

Oh in the team picture. Probably some type of energy drink

Those are definitely wine or champagne bottles, look at the young ladies on each end of the front row. Those are not energy bottles that they have between their legs.
