If we make all these claims about how Hurley is going to impact players got to give some credit to KO for improvement in those 2014 guys over his 1st 2 years coaching. Not sure how or why it happened but it did, and coaching matters. That was a national championship team, beating a murder's row of opponents, with one journeyman NBA caliber player, vs. for example what coach K had to work with this past year and not getting to the FF.

The KO saga will forever baffle me.

Saw that ex-arch enemy Peyton Siva was at his wedding, I believe they’re both on Alba Berlin. Regardless of alliances I actually liked Siva a lot, great player as well as a great competitor.

As I've said often on the board, I think KO is the only guy who could have gotten us the 'ship that year. Afterwards... not so much though.
