If I was an opposing coach, I’d just say that we prep guys for the NBA better if that’s what happens consistently.

Especially if the opposite is play well and develop in college but not make an impact in the NBA.

But you’re comparing apples & oranges right now. A top 5 kids expectations should be different than a 40-100 kid

5 more than the vast majority has won. I’m not in a minority. I can tell you with 100% certainty that if my school had won 5 titles I wouldn’t give two craps about Patrick Ngongba. Maybe it’s the massive inferiority complex that infects every living soul in Storrs that wills this into existence 20% of the time in the last 25 years. Who knows? What do we know? Try telling that to a top 5 kid though that’s watching a top 5 kid succeed.

Castle is going to be really important there. Probably Clingan too even though he doesn’t fit that recruiting mold. Just need to see us having an impact on the league again.

It’s simply a statement of fact regarding this young man’s recruitment. I made a statement that UConn had as much of a chance of landing this guy as PC does (none) and that he was K-State bound. I was attacked without regard to the content, as is usual for you guys and here I am being proven right.

You could just say; “FriarJ, turns out you were right” but nope, instead it’s a massive conspiracy theory on why he didn’t choose you and Hurley is going to personally beat every Big East team by 20 because he is so mad. Classic boneyard. Winning a 5th title hasn’t been able to thicken the skin. Science should look into the phenomena that is UConn fans.

Thing is, it’s your false narrative that’s been created. We’ve lost out on MANY recruits before and I’m sure we will again. And yet somehow we’ve managed to win FIVE championships despite these massive failures.

At the end of the day, none of us have to be reduced to trolling any other teams’ message board to get pleasure. What that says about you is just pathetic. I bet you like stealing candy from little kids too.

its a fun jab to throw out but there's not nearly as many of those types of fans anymore thankfully. in the huggins days when uc football was as bad as uconn's program it was a real thing. we've come a long way.
