Ngongba Cuts UCONN

Hum...Ngongba was needed to fill an important 2024/25 position. That one stings. Unless some 2024-25 shakes loose, we'll be looking at the transfer portal or some international option.

Yup. This is why im not huge on recruiting. I usually spend my time and energy on guys who are coming here not the ones considering us. Ive followed the flagg recruitment way closer than any i can remember because its big news but i usually pay little attention.

Hurley knows the kind of player he wants. His track record thus far shows it. Calhoun was the same as we rose to eliteness.
Good riddance to this joker. We’ll be fine.
 
He must have heard something he didnt like. Not everyone will line up 100% with Hurley. I dont think there is anything wrong with that but maybe he thought he would jive better with scheyer or tang and kansas seems to have the biggest bag to drop these days.

I never wish best of luck to anyone who goes elsewhere. I want them to suck. Just being honest.

I just hope we didn't lose Betsey because the coaches' focus shifted elsewhere and he wasn't feeling the love. I favor the approach of offering many top players and tell them the first one to commit it it. No games.

How do you negatively recruit against a school that just won a NC, and is loaded again? If anything, Duke has major question marks considering K is gone and whether there will even be an ACC in 5 years (granted, this last one would have zero effect on Flagg or Pat)

Especially if they go to Duke. Sorry Coop, I have no reason to wish you luck, and once you’re in Duke threads I will actively hate you.
 
Players really dont care about winning a National Championship anymore. Its one and done to hurry up and get to all the $ NBA guys are making. PN lost Life goes on. It will be another 4/5 star big in class of 25. We just have to go after them NOW.
