does no NCAA postseason also mean no NIT postseason? Just curious.

I don't expect many people back next year. I wouldn't be surprised if JC, George B., and a few others didn't come back, and players might have a longer list.

Its a full postseason ban, otherwise known as an "Involuntary Providence".
that sounds like some sort of unpleasant sexual position

The talent level on this team actually won't be that bad. Worst case scenario:

PG: Bazz (jr)
PG2: Boat (so)
SG: Calhoun (sg)
SF: Scoe (jr)
PF: Olander (jr)

Bench: Giffey, the 2 bigs, whoever we get in the offseason (Cassell? Obekpa?)

That's a top 8 Big East team assuming we can fill out the roster. With Waayns and Harkless gone, WVU out, possibly challenge for a top 4 spot.

Lets just hope we can play in the tourney. If not this is a base that will be extremely experienced and if we can recruit some size, deep for a 2014 run.

I fully expect that the postseason ban will eventually be lifted. However, I also fully expect that decision to be made by the NCAA in August...well after the decision date for NBA early entrants and after we have had a couple of other defections. I am convinced that this is the way it will go down.

I said this exact same thing last week. I completely agree.

We have to make up 28 points a game with JL and AD most likely going.

Where is that coming from?

These players make up a top 8 Big East team? Are you serious?

Totally. This is 100% being done for the NCAA to tell CT to suck it.

Calhoun will come back. No way he leaves after this season and puts his successor in this APR and potential post season ban. JB will be head coach next year.

Odds: AO transferring- 40%
DD transferring-25 %
Lamb NBA- 85%
AD NbA- 65%
JC leaving-10%

I hope they all stay by the way.

Great idea of a post. Just crazy talk after that as far as losing JC because of it. This is JC's alamo.

Jim Boeheim is coming to coach UConn?

I hate being "that guy", but we haven't finished in the top 8 of the Big East in each of the last 3 years, and each of those seasons had comparable or better talent than the roster you just listed.

Then again, as 2 of those 3 years demonstrated, talent on paper isn't everything.

Was going to say the same thing. Trying to be positive here after the game tonight, but we are in serious trouble if that's our lineup next year.

That would be painful wouldn't it? Can only hope the Huskies win the appeal soon enough to have everyone make the decisions they need to!!
