Can't speak to the competition, but this suggests they are doing something right on defense. I mean, that's less than 11 points allowed per quarter.

Given the injuries to Gabby and Crystal, and the upcoming game against L’ville, I wonder if Geno is going to go to the bench even sooner. Kyla and Batouly have played some quality minutes, and Megan has been explosive at times. Why not mix them in with the starters?

Coach Abe has UCF on the right track. The University is committed to big time sports, they have a beautiful campus a few miles from Disney, and there’s a lot of HS talent in the state of FL. I predict that in the next few years, UCF will supplant USF as the #2 team in the AAC, and hopefully become a regular among top 25 WBB teams nationally.

Not a great offensive output. Both probably speak to slowing the game down.

Just wanted to note that the loss to Elon isn’t a big deal; Elon isn't a bad team. They have 7 losses to: Iowa, Wake Forest, NC State, Delaware, CAA co-#1 James Madison, rival William & Mary, and co-#1 Drexel. They got revenge on James Madison yesterday. They're a solid mid-major that's going to surprise some teams like UCF. Oh, and they have an awesome pep band, if I do say so myself.

Due to injuries, starting with Lou in November, the starting 5s chemistry was slower to develop this year (this per team members) and it is just now rounding into form. Geno can't rest his starters too much or finish conference play with mix and match line ups and lose the conditioning and chemistry of his starting unit. I'm amazed they are doing as well as they are given the dings and Guns unable to practice.

this is one of those teams that scares me, not in terms of losing games, more in terms of losing players............UCF seem to be overly physical which is the last thing UConn needs............I hope the refs call it fairly tight without going overboard
