While at the game on Sunday, the school showed a “New Year’s message” from the team which did not have Azzi or Ayanna in it but did have Caroline in it, so she is still around the team. At least there is hope she can return this year, whereas we know Azzi and AP will be out. Good luck Azzi on the rehab and we hope to see you soon!

Carol has been involved in social activities. However, there is too much noise and other stimulation at games. Azzi and Ayanna are in the early stages of rehab and can't sit on the bench or in a chair for an extended period. Plus, they can't move out of the way if a ball or player comes their way. When Aubrey had back surgery, she was away from the team for a while. This is similar.

Azzi and Ayanna are in the early stages of rehab and can't sit on the bench or in a chair for an extended period. Plus, they can't move out of the way if a ball or player comes their way. When Aubrey had back surgery, she was away from the team for a while. This is similar.

And Azzi's mom said she was going to go home after surgery so her early days of rehab wouldn't be a distraction to the team. She said she'd return after the holiday break so hopefully we will see her soon! Same with Ayanna and Carol.

I was on a flight with Azzi's Mom on December 5 from Baltimore to Hartford. She was going to meet with Azzi at the Graduate Storrs hotel on campus and then take her to her Grandmother's house in Storrs to continue her recovery process before rehab.

There are many unknowns about Carol. I'm not optimistic about anything soon, but I haven't given up on her. Most importantly, I hope her health improves and stabilizes, irrespective of basketball.

Jana is on the bench because she had her surgery months ago (July or August, I believe) and is well into her rehab. Azzi and Ayanna, not so much.
So I am confused about what your post means.

Too bad UConn President Maric can't find a few square feet for Azzi and Ayanna's comfort in her Presidential suite for a few home games until they can safely ride the bench.
