They should use the white based uniforms they have won with.I'd much prefer the old classic unis. To me, they say, it's a big game. BTW, did they put enough logos and text on the front? Looks like NASCAR.
Stagnant above commented that s/he wasn't fond of the big red U. Looking at the picture the U is clearly not red and in fact is black. This confused me. Was Boneyard conspiring to gaslight me? But no, clicking through the other pics showed the U to be just as Stagnant described - red. So what's with that pic showing the black U?
Nike pays UConn millions of dollars to wear their uniforms, footwear, and other apparel.I don't want to sound too much like an old curmudgeon, but having just voted yes on a school referendum in the little district where I live in northern Wisconsin that's going to see my property taxes rise by $100's a year if it passes I hope the uniforms are being paid for by one of the school's corporate sponsors and not by the University or the state. Seems like Connecticut has got some serious financial issues going on from what I read.
Personally, I like the RED U but I like the modeling crew even more!
