I hated the gray and silver uniforms. Didn't they burn the silver ones? Other than that, I'm surprised so many people get wound up over uniforms. Chances are excellent that I would not have noticed the new uniforms if it wasn't called to my attention. Mrs. Skeets will tell you that's true...

LOL, the silver unis were only worn once, that upset by Duke. The red U makes the CONN stand out, so it is a combination of the current and throwback unis. Not bad, I like them. New beginning, new challenge deserves new uniforms. It's been a while, maybe it will change our luck. Go Huskies

As most of you know I coached HS Wrestling for over 30 years and I always went by the sayings, "If it ain't broke don't fix it!" or "Dance with who brung ya!"
Luck has it we're playing #15 Arkansas State so chances are the new uni's won't matter!

Pretty sure that's the old one Paige is holding. If you watch it, she changes the shirt to the new one

I will be honest, I’m kinda an old fart, and really have not ever been that keen on fashion even when I was younger. Is the only difference between them the U, which has changed to red?

For what it’s worth, I like the white version better.

I don't want to sound too much like an old curmudgeon, but having just voted yes on a school referendum in the little district where I live in northern Wisconsin that's going to see my property taxes rise by $100's a year if it passes I hope the uniforms are being paid for by one of the school's corporate sponsors and not by the University or the state. Seems like Connecticut has got some serious financial issues going on from what I read.

Personally, I like the RED U but I like the modeling crew even more!

One reason for different uniforms is an expanding stock of things to sell.

Someone who bought a uni 2 years ago now may spend again to get this one.

Me likey. No uniform is going to be universally loved, but I think it's great and they look cool. As one poster put it, thought, it's not what's on them, rather what's in them that counts. And as long as they aren't those silver/grey ones, I think most of us can rest easy on the mojo front LOL...
