Another poster said he loved "Junkyard Dogs"... which I do too... So who are your favorites & why?

I've loved our Jeff Adrien's, Kevin Freeman's, Ricky Moore's & Craig Austrie's!

Gerry Besselink
Rickey Moore
Lyman Depriest

Yes, Ricky & Lyman could really shut the other team's stars down. I remember when DePriest shut Danna Barros down! That was classic!

Agreed. Was that captured on video? Would love a animated gif of that footage if so.

It's got to be on video somewhere. I need to research Laettner's head being smashed into the court! I remember it in Perect video! An American Classic!

For the older crowd here... anyone shudder to think what Al Weston could've done had there been a 3-pt shot in the mid-70s? Those teams are known for Hanson/Whelan/Abro, but Weston lived in the corners, draining 25-footers.

You've got me beat! Damn you Pre-1983 Observers... but we've heard such good things about them! I love hearing stories about stuff like this. Tell us more!

How about Wes Bialosuknia (sp?)? He was a shooting, scoring machine. No three point line.

Didn't Lyman, at 6'5", guard Shaq in the NCAA tourney in 1991? He did an awesome job.
