Another player whose stats don't tell the story of how valuable she is.
Arizona State has attracted several players who can be good assets to a rebuilding team. Gabby Elliott, a transfer from Penn State caught my attention. Former starter at Mich State before injuries. Was a double digit scorer for Penn State last season. Very athletic and great at defensive pressure from what I remember.

Do we really need a separate post for the “signing” of a transfer after they've already said where they're going?

Seems like overkill, especially for a 32% shooter.
This is a different system. She will have different numbers. Look at Spearman who went from 6.8 ppg at Miami to 25 ppg at Tennessee.

That surprises me. Does Tennessee have too many players in competition for minutes at this point?

Well, looks like Tennessee isn't trying to improve their efficiency numbers....
Tennessee is probably as financially committed to wbb as anyone in the country. Definitely near the top of however many schools are really splashing resources on both NIL and program. It's kind of crazy how long they've been only hanging around the fringe of good, but feels like only a matter of time til they finally find their way back to consistent top 10 fixture.

South Carolina and Mississippi have to be the only schools Barker has faced every year of her college career, right? NVRMIND. Also played Arkansas and LSU this year.

As I responded to another transfer the Molly Miller era begins.

I fully expect a return to the CTT level of defense first.
