Glad to see this incoming transfer for Baylor. She will fit in well here as well as enjoy a multi-year stay. Jada Walker (transfer from KY) has been a terrific 2-year point guard at Baylor, but Jada’s eligibility is completed and the need for an equally outstanding replacement at point guard existed till now.

Man y'all, I spend more time trying to decide which carry-on suitcase to buy than these players decide where they want their bachelor's degree and their core life cohort to be from.

Also, I've seen four finalist lists for transfers this morning that include Wisconsin. Sounds like Robin Pingeton is being aggressive. Will be interesting to see who she lands.

I like it. 6'7 with skill replaces 6'7 with skill. Prince is a lot older and more physical but I see it

I followed Kentucky this year. Silva really developed over the course of the season, and played well in SEC and NCAA tourneys, especially when Strack was in foul trouble.

I was surprised this move happened. Now at TCU assuming Prince not back, she will get a chance to be #1 big pairing with Miles.

Also she got a little pocket money, we guess.

Yeah, I think she's legit good and will thrive with more playing time. Better than her stats. But I was wondering if there has been any movement or changes with nil for international students. Like is she or Garzon really not going to get paid but Olivia Miles will make 700 thousand. Doesn't make much sense.

I didn't see any official post in the thread so just wanted to provide context

Can we confirm where she's actually from? I've seen I think 3 different answers in this thread.

Okay, according to the internets born in Kansas City, Missouri, but high school was La Jolla Country Day which I'm pretty sure is in California.

I thought Lay Jawla was next town over from Poplar Bluff, MO ? ;):D

KC gal who moved to LA (senior year?) in HS. Being a KC gal she certainly knows the Big 12 and what's going on there and at ISU. Good get for my team.

It was a good get. At one point, Niele Ivey was interested in Williams and KK Arnold, but Williams moved to LA and then committed to UCLA, before switching to Arizona (I think the commitment of Kiki Rice at UCLA had a lot to do with that). Arnold, of course, went to Conn, but I think Ivey was happy when she and Hannah Hidalgo got together.

Congrats on the signing...like Hidalgo and Arnold, she can add some zip to the attack.

Thing about that is that it will be a bit hamstrung by Crooks and Brown. Crooks is obviously pretty slow but Brown isn't very fleet afoot either. Will be interesting how a player with quickness fits into a system completely unaccustomed to it. At least she should be able to stay in front of opposing guards on defense, something we really struggled with, and nobody on the team could take anyone off the dribble.
