May 2014 according to Warde Manuel. Ground-breaking on April 16, 2013.

If it is completed on schedule that would mean Courtney Ekmark [and other 2014 recruits!] would be using the facility when they arrive in June of that year for their summertime activities.

I trust that an occasional rabid UConn fan can wander in and see the action come that fall.

Yes. Memorial Stadium was torn down to make way for the practice facility.

My dad and I drove by it yesterday. The fence has been put up and the old stadium is gone, but nothing else yet. Makes sense since the official groundbreaking isn't till April. Can't wait to see it in person!!
