Yeah that is a huge bummer, but really could have ended so much worse there. Stay only on the busy parts of the busy streets within the FQ. Royal and Chartres are the ones I try to use within the Quarter; otherwise always Decatur.

Domilise's off the menu special. Fried shrimp, roast beef debris, and swiss. Probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.

Exactly. Bad night. Myself and a friend got pickpocketed on a street off of Bourbon. They got my money and my friend got all his money and cards stolen. Listening to Kermit Ruffins now.

You really need to be careful in big cities you aren't familiar with the layout.

I never keep anything in my pockets and leave the wallet locked in hotel. Put cash and a credit card in one of these and safety pin the belt so it can't be unknowingly unclipped.

Buddy of mine got robbed at an ATM at gunpoint, outside the quarter last year.
