New grid alert

At this point, it’s nearly impossible for us to know who is staying and who is going and the board has a long-standing policy against speculating about kids who might transfer, so let’s not do it.
Especially this week.

Hawkins has millions of dollars wanting for him to say the word. Hurley has said that he is a first round draft pick.

That ain't speculation. That's a fact.

Alleyene and Newton are seniors but have their Covid year available still so can come back
Can they really come back if they stopped going to school already?

I have a hard time believing that. Everyone at UConn now knows about what a bad APR brings. There's an incentive in Hurley's contract for a high APR. And Hurley preaches excellence in everything, including academics.

As long as they have enough credits to graduate prior to the start of spring semester, then it won't hurt the APR if they drop out before the end of spring semester and don't receive the extra unneeded credits. If players take summer classes, then they can easily graduate without needing the credits from their spring semester of their senior year. If they are accepted into a graduate school program, then they should be able to play a 5th year.
