Top five unchanged. Shake-up in 6-10 with Duke and A&M dropping.

I am surprised to see TAMU still in the top 10. Those were two REALLY bad losses that they had and they have no offensive continuity.

3 out of 8 voters who voted UConn #3 last week, moved UConn up to #2, after the A+M win. The three include Dan Fleser of the Knoxville News-Sentinel. I'm surprised that the other 5 didn't change their minds as well.

Here's how a voter might justify it : "At the beginning of the year, I picked ND ahead of UConn, partly due to the last game between them which ND won, and reflecting that UConn lost a lot to graduation. Since then, ND lost one game, to the #1 team in the country, as expected, so nothing has happened to materially change my assessment. Maybe, if the season ended today, I'd have to think hard about the quality of each win, but I see UConn scheduled to play Baylor Sunday, so that will tell me more. "

If you look at Top ten then ACC is sitting pretty:
ACC 3
BE 2
B12 2
SEC 2
If you look at top 25, then the BE looks good:
BE 6
B12 5
ACC 4
SEC 4
B10 3

If you look at Top ten then ACC is sitting pretty:
ACC 3 - 5,7,9
BE 2 2,3
B12 2 1,10
SEC 2 6,8
If you look at top 25, then the BE looks good:
BE 6
B12 5
ACC 4
SEC 4
B10 3
Just a little more granularity on these numbers.

ACC 3 - 5,7,9
BE 2 - 2,3
B12 2 - 1,10
SEC 2 - 6,8

Had it not happened the same week as the ND-Purdue game, they probably would have. But ND's destruction of the Boilers (which had just been beaten TAMU, btw) was impressive. I would find it very hard to drop ND after that.
