Husky's playing a little tight and with a little lack in intensity. Scrappy little UNV team.

Opponents always play hardest at the beginning of the game. The trick is sustaining that intensity for 40 minutes. Few teams can do it.

Against a smaller opponent she's getting boxed out, not setting timely screens, not asserting herself in the paint and is loping up on offense. That's all.

As expected Nevada can't stay with UConn starters. Kia with 15 points in the 1st quarter. Gaby with 8 on 4-4 shooting. Team is trying to get the ball to Gabby.

Will be interesting to see how the Freshmen are able to handle this Nevada team. They do have experience.

I have a feeling that until Stevens develops a little bit of nasty to her game that Coach Auriemma is not going to let up on her. There is NO reason why she can't absolutely DOMINATE competition like Nevada every night. She is just too soft on the court right now.
