I don't know how to feel about this. Normally my goal would be to avoid South Carolina at all costs, but given our last matchup against them, is it a bad thing this year?

Charlie Creme's bracketology has the #3 seeds as Duke, North Carolina, TCU, & Kentucky.
He has #3 seed TCU in #2 seed UCONN's bracket. But the Huskies would be double digit favorites vs. any of those #3 seed teams.

I know, I know the AP poll doesn’t count for much but still: UConn has lost to #3 Notre Dame, #6 So Cal and #11 Tennessee. Notre Dame has lost to #9 NC State, #10 TCU(they were #17 when ND lost to them!) and #28 Utah. Quite a difference in rankings. I like our chances against ND with both squads near full strength.

It’s a difference, yes, but more than offset by the quality of ND’s wins over Texas, USC and UConn. Our best wins after SC are North Carolina and Ole Miss.

No matter if we are a 1 or 2, I believe our best bet is to be hooked up with Texas. They are terribly inconsistent, even in their winning. Stay away from ND and UCLA. Love to be with USC.
That’s what I was hoping for too , stay with Texas or Southern California , definitely stay away from ND and UCLA …

It will be interesting to see how this all pans out. There are three SEC teams in the Top 7. Then add the rules about teams not being able to play conference teams. UConn is going to get placed wherever the SEC ain’t. TCU will be the fourth #2 seed it they win out.

??
If UConn is a 2 seed and both Texas and S. Carolina are 1 seeds (as currently projected), there is a more than decent chance that UConn is in the same regional as Texas or SC.
