Just finished blacklist S6. I don’t think many shows can have a season 6 that good.

Agreed. I was starting to get tired of it but season 6 was legit.

Season 4 with Mr Kaplan was pretty bad and 5 started out a bit slow...but it really picked up. And I so called the big secret.

But the rest of the seasons have been rock solid.

I like Dark. It's German and dubbed over, but still watchable. Its like Stranger Things meets 12 Monkeys. Not as sophmoric as the former and not as intense as the latter. Hard to keep track of the characters though.
Has the second season started yet? We really enjoyed S1.

So my gym upgraded their equipment to allow access to online services like WatchESPN, Netflix, and Hulu. I have a Netflix account and just finished Mindhunter.

So I'm in need of recommendations for a new show to watch. I'm not a gory, horror fan but enjoy mystery, action, and definitely historic/semi historic based shows.

Any recommendations?
Rockford Files reruns, Spin and Marty, live UConn football.

Started binging "Unbelievable."

Finished it. Really really good. It's almost 2 different shows that don't tie together until near the end. It starts with a young woman in Washington who reports being raped. After being questioned relentlessly by detectives, they point out some discrepancies in her story and ultimately pressure her into recanting her story. Her life pretty much falls apart.

Then it jumps forward about 3 years to Colorado. Two detectives in different jurisdictions working a rape case by sheer luck discover there are similarities in their 2 cases and begin working together.

Strong performances throughout. As I noted above this is based on true events.

So a few shows I've watched.

Netflix
Altered Carbon: good. thought provoking, interesting premise.
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norris (BBC): Read the book. So far the show is better. Solid short series.
Mindhunter: top notch. Doesn't get better.

Prime
Carnival Row: Fantastic. Just tremendous TV.
The Boys: Dark look at superheros. Quite well done. Karl Urban is awesome.
Good Omens: Fantastic book and they did a great job with the show. David Tenant never disappoints.

Hulu
Catch 22: Good, but the pacing is too slow. If you haven't seen the movie, watch the movie.

Season 2 of "I'm Sorry" is really dragging. I might not finish it.
