I doubt it. We did lose to ND. But what West Virginia just showed us is the value of Kia coming along as the second tower.

We lost to the top two teams in the country. They lost to an unranked WVU team. That's gotta be worth moving us up a spot. But like Geno says rankings aren't all that important.

From what I see, if you beat someone higher in the rankings, you go up. If you lose to someone lower in the rankings, you go down. Since we didn't lose last week while ND lost to an unranked team, we move up simply because ND will move down a spot or three.

Don't love being on the road the week before the ND game, but the schedule should not be too challenging. Kia is coming on and I think UC has the best D in the country. So, yah, we can beat ND. It is in our team's hands now.

Skylar had a great game scoring 32 points. However, she missed 6 free throws shooting 12 of 18. As a team ND missed 9 Free Throws and WVA only missed 4. I was surprised to see both teams go to the line 25 times. ND usually wins the Free Throw battle.

yeah, that was very uncharacteristic for Diggins to miss all those FTs (82% shooter?)

This is WV's biggest win in history, their previous best was against Rutgers, at home. So not only did they knock off the #2 team, they did it at ND.

WV's previous best away win was over #5 Louisville.

Frankly, maybe it is my naivete but I did not understand Diggins killing so much time on the clock with 34 secondsto play...with the back up plan being foul them???? So maybe they should slip a rank or 2.
