Silly old' bear.Y'know, there is a passing resemblence to a younger Geno, and..Shea maybe?..![]()
Guess what, Geno has a big surprise for ND and that is the reason he sat the 2 Bigs on Sat.........Watch out?.........
Throughout his posting career, jsloanjr has been trying to displace Tony as Optimus Prime by running to the less substantive side of Pollyanna. Are you really a UCONN Fan or an imposter?

Then, like Kafka's Gregor Samsa, our reliable sloanopian hero awoke one morning to find himself transformed into the AntiSloan -- a giant hypercritical insect.
And the AntiSloan, with its big multifaceted bug eyes, can easily see the Marquette game as a 40 point loss by a 3-26 team -- and, aha, the underlying defects of the team are such that it could've been worse.
You might think something's a little screwed up here.
You'd be right.

Why quibble over synonyms?Perhaps you mean dystopian?
Or perhaps the board consensus is that the OP has a long-standing history of staring threads akin to this just to raise a ruckus and get attention rather than actually trying to stimulate substantive dialogue.enough with all of the witty comments. why no specific rebuttals of jsloanjr's points? is this the best that this board can come up with? personally, i find a lot of what he says makes sense. who is the point guard, or isn't there one? are the posts playing well? is the team defense as stifling as they were earlier this year? is the half-court offense getting open shots, or is the scoring coming from having superior individuals? pleased with the defense against out-of-bounds plays? marquette is not the only team to have taken advantage there. perhaps the lack of substantive responses is because people are finding it hard to find arguments with what he said.

So feel free to start.....i think that his comments should have stimulated substantive comments. so where are they?
People were responding to the OP's body of work.i think that his comments should have stimulated substantive comments. and there are none in sight.
It wasn't meant to have responses.
It set the proper tone for the game, "We're DOOOOOOOOOMED!!!"
True, assuming he can somehow swim back, after removing all the tar, feathers and cement boots.if UConn lose then of course he's a genius and will be UConn's next coach!

Are you really a UCONN Fan or an imposter?
.... dyspeptic dystopian.Guess again. He's not a UConn fan. Not an imposter. He is an [fill in the blank.]

regarding ND, does anyone really think, player to player, position to position, that uconn matches up favorably with them?
