Well, Duke has lacked toughness in recent years. Not sure they still do, but giving up big leads is not something tough teams do.

has a big advantage in the post with Williams, Henson, and Vernery.

Vernery is not good. Cannot figure out how she gets so much playing time.

Vernery has some size and good skills. But she is soft, and post players at this level cannot be soft.

Both teams shot about 32%, 20-25% on threes, and 66% on FTs.

Diggins was 8-10 on FTs, Williams was 6-11. Those 2 points were the difference.

low scoring game, but it must have been great to watch. exciting 2 point win and tough loss for Duke. they are going to be very tough this year.
