that decision was pretty bad. Miami’s defense has stopped no one all year. ABC/ESPN team in the studio could not believe that decision. But I would say worst coaching today was Ohio State coach. Bad play calling on the red zone.Ward should definitely sit. They were down 7, 4th and goal from around the 10, and Cristobol took the ball out of his hands and decided to kick a FG and then put his defense out there. They needed a TD either way, and he sat the best part of his team in favor of the worst (his defense). How can you really care after that move?
It sure as hell has. From year to year, teams are going to rise and fall based on it, especially if they get a QB. Miami just had a 10 win season and almost got to the playoff just based on getting Ward in the portal. If you are a legit team that gets a guy like that, who knows how far you can go. Obviously he is an extreme example, but a QB can make all the difference. There is so much parity in college football this year. I will say NIL has made the season way more exciting

I thought Joel Klatt was spot on when he was questioning Obio State for not trying to attack Michigan on the edges and in space. It's like he felt he had to prove they could out tough Micbigan after how the last few years went.that decision was pretty bad. Miami’s defense has stopped no one all year. Ohio state spent $20 million on a team filled with NFL players particularly at WR. Made no sense for Ohio State trying to run the ball all day. The coach should be tarred and feathered.I thought Joel Klatt was spot on when he was questioning Obio State for not trying to attack Michigan on the edges and in space. This Miami team is the biggest fraud football team I've seen since the 2020 Pittsburgh Steelers team that sucked and was still 11-0 at one point before finishing the season 1-6 with a first round wildcard loss.Miami/Syracuse is fun. Miami looks like a team that will get dump trucked in the playoffs.
Actually it in the 3rd not the fourth quarter. Sorry about that.TCU 20 Cinn 7 under 5 mins in the 4th ! Go Horned Frogs!
That is the Syracuse thing to do. Beat Miami and make sure only 1 Acc team makes it into the playof
I think Baker Mayfield did it when he was at Oklahoma and they won at Ohio State. That's one I remember, but I don’t remember it happening again, until it happened yesterday in a couple of games.Actually, the Syracuse Coach comments about us being the “biggest game of the year“ for them (BS or not) kind of won me over, I’ll admit it - I found myself really rooting for them Yesterday.
I will say this, if we ever plant a UConn Flag on an opposing teams field who provided the field, security for the event, locker rooms, made medical services available etc to our team, press room etc. - I’m 100% not onboard for that… period end.
Don’t know when that became a thing but IMO takes it to new level of low - sportsmanship - or just being a human being LOL.…

I'm low-key rooting for SMU here. They're getting no money form the ACC and they are making the rest of the conference look bad.The SEC will leave college football if a one lose Smu that lost to Clemson who lost to SC gets in over any 3 loss Sec team.
I am rooting for SMU as well. I think it would be funny if they won the conference in the first year and receiving no money from the ACC. NIL and transfer without sitting out has definitely led to parity.I'm low-key rooting for SMU here. They're getting no money form the ACC and they are making the rest of the conference look bad.

However, the flag thing is great. Look at how crazy this week has been. It’s fun it’s exciting, it’s what the fans want! It’s better than the No Fun League where everything is banned. we used to steal mascots back in the day lol. Let’s let em have fun - it’s rivalry week.
Violence is stupid but planting a flag is a provocation. Its a declaration of conquered territory. Swinging fists is stupid... but I would absolutely be fine with taking the flag and destroying it, and if they retaliate then game on.Stealing a mascot is a prank. Planting a flag is trying to start a fight. It's straight up stupid.
