Yawn. Boring! For all you bracketeers, with one game left today (OK-Idaho), it’s highly likely that every single favorite will win today.

She’s a baller. I haven’t watched a ton of Tennessee but seeing them against State both games I was very impressed with her. Should be on the court 30-35 minutes a game easily IMO. Wish State had her at the 3.My heart hurts for Talaysia watching her on the bench behind Caldwell. Come on back home, Coop!
I am so proud of how NC State responded when Brooks left the game and Tennessee got within 2 points. Destiny Lunan grew up a lot tonight..and we're going to need her if Brooks is done for the year.State won from tip to buzzer - but Khamil Pierre rolled an ankle and left the game, got taped and came back. Zoe left mid way in the 3rd on a non contact injury - appeared to be an Achilles maybe? She was in a lot of pain. I’m worried she may be done for the season :/
Yeah! But that’s women’s basketball. Usually only upsets are the 8 vs 9 gameYawn. Boring!
We used to get a few. Seems like there's been a seismic shift recently, almost no upsets or mid majors advancing at all anymore.Yeah! But that’s women’s basketball. Usually only upsets are the 8 vs 9 game
She was probably sick of them and they were sick of her. 🤣Announced just before tip off, Janiah Barker will miss today’s game against NC State, due to illness
Geee, what could explain it? Gobs of NIL, super conferences, and endless transfer portaling, perhaps? We used to get a few. Seems like there's been a seismic shift recently, almost no upsets or mid majors advancing at all anymore.
It’s definitely the portal. To many kids leave the mid major teams.Geee, what could explain it? Gobs of NIL, super conferences, and endless transfer portaling, perhaps?
10,000+ saw the Gophers win today. A really fun environment (and nearly 60 degree temp when leaving is a crazy March bonus in Minneapolis). Guessing/hoping 12,000+ is possible Sunday for Ole Miss. If Coach P can really get in going in Minneapolis, Minnesota may become another attendance juggernaut. It's been awhile, but before the Caitlin Clark era, Minnesota and Wisconsin were at/near the top of the Big Ten in terms of historical single-season attendance records.30-9 burst in Q4 for the Gophers, 75-58 final.
Minny vs Ole Miss is an interesting match up.
Begs the question, was the result the law of unintended consequences, or was it planned out having a very good idea how it would go?Geee, what could explain it? Gobs of NIL, super conferences, and endless transfer portaling, perhaps?
A number of the mid major better players hit the transfer portal and that weakens those teams chances of upsetting the higher seeded teams. We used to get a few. Seems like there's been a seismic shift recently, almost no upsets or mid majors advancing at all anymore.
I don’t think you can answer your question looking only at women’s basketball. Look at the money in mbb. If the answers are the same, your questions become relevant.Begs the question, was the result the law of unintended consequences, or was it planned out having a very good idea how it would go?

Ah yes the portal. Geno and many other coaches would look at Cooper’s performance history and pass. Where exactly will she end up that would provide her with the discipline she needs to develop a pro-ready game, and would she actually submit to that discipline?I’ve watched plenty. She’s had way too many no shows. She’s zoned out numerous times. For her sake, she needs to hit the portal to improve her W stock
The Barn was packed!! Great showing, Minnesota!!30-9 burst in Q4 for the Gophers, 75-58 final.

So I heard about this record yesterday watching the Blue Devils game, and naturally enough I wondered about UConn's record in 1st round games. Overall the Huskies are 34-2, and they haven't lost a 1st round game in 31 consecutive seasons...........Just sayin..........Not taking a dig at Duke, but that stat really surprised me. Genuinely had assumed this would have been UConn.
So how is it that ESPN lists Duke? I'm genuinely perplexed. So I heard about this record yesterday watching the Blue Devils game, and naturally enough I wondered about UConn's record in 1st round games. Dude........................😂🤦♀️ I get the game this season still stings but the sight of a long line up hours before the home team plays is a beautiful thing to see for this sport.Coal mines are closed today?
Well, technically Duke hasn’t lost in 28 appearances. UConn has lost, twice, the last time in 1993, after which they won 31 straight times. So it’s up to each of us to decide which streak is more impressive. So how is it that ESPN lists Duke? I'm genuinely perplexed.
There was chatter on the men's side when they noted Michigan State had made 28 straight appearances. Kansas fans disputed this noting that their team made it 34 times, but apparently that's not accurate because one of their seasons was vacated because of rule violations.
This is the context I didn't catch when I read your last response. An oversight on my part. From that perspective, I get it. Personally, both are impressive to me.Well, technically Duke hasn’t lost in 28 appearances. UConn has lost, twice, the last time in 1993, after which they won 31 straight times.
