Blessing and a curse

Got them lead in first half, killed them the second half when they went 4-14. They got away from their game especially on defense and the boards. They only shot 8 free throws(when is the last time that happened??) and missed half of them.

Learned the hard way that no matter how great Pitt looked in Big East play, don’t ever have them go deep on a bracket. St John’s is the current cautionary tale of that.

Mostly yes. The St John's as Pitt analogy is apt, but St. John's as the 5 lining up against Duke in UConn's bracket was a questionable draw.

Otz seems to always put good seasons together but then always comes up short in the tourney. It's annual. This Tenn team isn't even that good.

Maybe the B12 was a bit overrated. Other than AZ, no one past the S16.
