What a joke...I was ready to jump on Cooley for being an idiot, but that was nothing even remotely worthy of a technical.
 
Wow did they really T up Cooley for that? Man the refs this tourney have been historically bad. Could only imagine what BS would of happened if we'd made the dance.

Ish is just getting ridiculous

The refs even had a chance to correct themselves and still hand out the T that is pathetic, doesn't make a difference in the outcome of the game though.
 
Archie Miller is a real good coach. Completely outcoached Cooley with lesser players. They kept doubling Dunn off the high screen and then would rotate quickly on Henton. It was a two man game and Dayton just shut it down hard. Henton was just awful as well, trying to force midrange jumpers and fall aways.
 
Well, the folks that were rooting for Providence to self-destruct got what they wanted. Dayton is a feisty club, but my God, this has just been an abysmal performance from start to finish by Providence, and Dunn and Henton have taken turns throwing up all over themselves in the second half.

For the PC fans that have waited since '97 to see their team win a tournament game and to have them lose like this, they must be sick to their stomachs.
 
Hey you wanted your chance PC this was it 2 years in a row now, a choke job last year and getting killed tonight.

Good maybe this will knock their fans down and they can be at least courteous on the board and not talking junk when they haven't won anything in forever. No that won't happen. LOL!!!!
 
20 years without winning ONE single NCAA tourney game. Taking over New England baby!!
 
What's funny about this is that UConn's loss to SMU in the AAC championship kept Dayton in the field. Even more reason for PC fans to hate UConn.

Leave it to Providence to provide the only upset of the day. Good work.

Still the most boring day of the tournament I can ever remember.

Fair point. Why should a UConn fan care about biased officiating in the tournament?
