so just to clarify, she took money from an agent, more than once. There are no black helicopters or grassy knolls here.
Mrs. Boatright got stung by the same bee twice - a third go 'round would be very, very bad. The NCAA doesn't want Reggie Rose involved in any way, shape or form.
so just to clarify, she took money from an agent, more than once.
so did she or didn't she take money, that is more what i was asking. If Reggie Rose is indeed an agent please tell his brother Derrick that "fact". He might save himself a few bucks in his next contract and toss B.J. Armstrong and his 10% cut out of the mix.
As I read it - there were travel monies given when he was on the AAU circuit for both of them. That's pretty much what the first suspension was for. In investigating that, they found other payments and such, maybe even while Boat was at UConn, but they didn't have enough information to make any kind of ruling and they allowed Boat to play pending more investigation. Then recently, I guess some pieces came together and they wanted to see some more information. In the end, it looks like Boat didn't have any part in the extra monies beyond the AAU travel expenses and if he and his mother coopertated with the investigation, they would give him a pass. It sounds like they fully cooperated in something that is probably a lot bigger and important to the NCAA and he was given his immunity. I can totally understand why UConn held him out even though there was no further punishment. If there was a problem with the cooperation and he did play, UConn would have been whacked. That's how I read the timeline anyway.so did she or didn't she take money, that is more what i was asking.

so just to clarify, she took money from an agent, more than once.
so just to clarify, Boehiem did or didn't know Fine was abusing little boys, more than once.
so just to clarify, Fab Melo did or didn't fail a class/cheat on a test, more than once.
Obviously, the above was just to prove a point: stupid, poorly phrased questions are really annoying. The NCAA has found she did take money from (likely, someone she considered a long-time friend) for both the travel to (WVU, Providence, UConn and UNLV) and for car payments. It's not clear if any came from an agent. The assumption (as the two people tied to giving the money aren't mentioned by name) is that one is Reggie Rose. The issue with Reggie Rose (by NCAA rule) is that he is an AAU coach, not that he is an agent.
why do people always forget that fab melo also assaulted a woman, more than once. can we agree this needs to be mentioned more often?
You guys know this is stupid, right? the fact that Syracuse has yet another player on its roster accused of sexual assault, and that their long time assistant coach is accused of molesting boys is really irrelevent to the fact that Boatright's mother was slimey. She did in fact take the money. In fact she took more than $8,000. UCONN cooperated in helping ot find this out. Calhoun did not hold a press conference attacking the NCAA orthe people who raised the issue or defending her and defending Rose. It was not a good thing, but it seems for the most part, Ryan boatright was let down by people he trusted and had little if anything to do with the violations. Seems like mostly his mother was the one taking the dough and while he may have benefitted, he seems not to have know all the details.I apologize, I just was going with the two most recent Cuse issues.
