NCAA holds inaugural girls basketball academy

Although UCONN is not mentioned in the article, I hope we had a coach there.
Banghart was among the roughly 320 college coaches from 162 schools who were there. It was easy to pick out where the top players were competing by looking for the colorful shirts worn by the coaches courtside that included South Carolina's Dawn Staley, Louisville's Jeff Walz and Kim Mulkey of defending champion LSU.

It's a good bet that UConn was represented there. ;)

It’s about time

Indeed. Long overdue. I am glad that this event wasn't just about playing basketball but also an educational session for the players and their chaperones as well. Great stuff, NCAA.
