I'm a UConn fan and a Lou lover. But I stuck in my thumb and pulled out a Plum.
By the way anyone notice that when Lou celebrates a good pass after a bucket she doesn't point but rather gives a thumbs up?
Do you really think Plum is a better PLAYER than Katie Lou?/ Scorer, maybe, not Player. The award isn't for Scorer of the Year-I'm a UConn fan and a Lou lover. But I stuck in my thumb and pulled out a Plum.

With me if it's even close I go with the senior. Lou has 2 more years and a championship under her belt. College ball is where women get their hour in the sun. Let's let Plum enjoy hers.Do you really think Plum is a better PLAYER than Katie Lou?/ Scorer, maybe, not Player. The award isn't for Scorer of the Year-

57 lPoints do not a Player make---all the things that are not in the stats --are what determines a Player---Lou like KML started out a scorer and became a top rated player--a dependable passers, guard, scorer, rebounder (forget geno's needles) defender and teammate---Based on what stats would KLS be a better PLAYER than Plum ?
I hope you have other reasons. With me if it's even close I go with the senior. Lou has 2 more years and a championship under her belt. College ball is where women get their hour in the sun. Let's let Plum enjoy hers.
Lou's 10-10 3pts in 28 mins is NBA and NCAA history world record not just NCAAW.Plum broke an NCAA D1 women's basketball record that stood for for 16 years (since 2001). That accomplishment must be recognized. Now, it will be interesting to see how long Plum holds on to it.

Rachal Banham was a celebrated prolific scorer. She scored a lot more than Breanna Stewart last season.

Lou has 2 more years and a championship under her belt ==>those are not the good reasons not to select Katie Lou.
I think KLS vs. Plum is the wrong argument. It should be Collier vs. Plum or even Gabby. I would be interested to see how the poll would have gone with Collier's name in the list.
So you mean, Katie Lou should score more points per game because her teammates are so good, and took some points from her?Not to mention Plum doesn't have a teammate anywhere near as good as Collier to take defensive attention away from her, nor 4 other starters anywhere near as good as UConn's again to occupy the defense.

Chantel Osahor is #1 (15.3 rpg) in rebound in the country, and she does not take defensive attention away from Plum? (DI Women's Basketball Statistics - NCAA.com)
