No excuse not to sell out a home opener against an ACC opponent on a Thursday. If we truly have a large fan base from NYC throughout New England, they will show up. If we want to get a P4 invite we need an SRO crowd. No excuses!

I actually prefer his approach because it’s realistic.

Yes, that should work at long as the barcode is scannable.

Trending right on target here. Think final numbers will be towards the higher end. Updated Guesstimate is sitting at 25k attendance, 32.5k distributed. Seeing on twitter that student tickets sold out and school is now offering additional students free tickets in sections 205-209.

25k attendance wouldn't shock me, although I think it will be a little lower than that.

That having been said, would someone please explain to me why anyone will care how many tickets we give away that go unused?

we distributed ~27k for cuse last year with a lot of giveaways and got 25k. I think you're overestimating the no-shows

I don't know how many basketball season ticket holders there are but giving them two tickets each to the game should help with the numbers dramatically I would think.

I mean they did just give a tickets to all of the Hoop STHs. But it might be a very nice crowd.

Same here…..just added 4 more to our tailgating group from the freebies. My buddy and I received 4 for our Gampel season tickets. Hope everyone else is having success too

Totally agree on underestimating….less than 30 seats remaining in those sections that were available to basketball season ticket holders….so now the corners are filling up!

Go to uconnhuskies.com/myaccount, make sure you are logged in and then you can click on transfer tickets and just enter the name/phone number of the person you are sending them to and it’ll transfer directly to their phone.
