Hasnt NC State done this sort of thing before?? Seems like the season before last (or one of them) they upset 2 or 3 teams to make it to the finals?? I could be wrong though!

2010... Think they were a 6 seed.... made it to the finals and lost to Duke.

Also in 2007...... they knocked off a 29-0 Duke team in the semi-finals.

I wouldnt mind if State won.... they definitely will have the crowd behind them tomorrow. Gonna be interesting to see how many Duke fans show up tomorrow and Sunday. Ill be there with my Duke shirt on.... rooting for State and Miami. Assuming Miami gets by Wake tonight.

Not what you were asking, but they beat us in the 1998 regional final.

Yep. Duke blocked a ton of shots, but missed 10 FTs in a 2-point game.

I think UConn's 1 seed looks secure. Duke still has a 2, I believe.

I love this time of year. Not wishing an upset on Duke...I just love the unpredictability of the tournaments, and there wasn't always a lot of that in women's basketball in some past years.​

The thing is... along with UCONN and TENN... Duke has been the most upset proof team in the conference tourneys. Just saw earlier that this is the first time since 1995 that Duke hasnt made it until at least the conference semis.
